FastMediaSorter LITE, published by SZA, is a fast, keyboard-driven viewer and sorter for images and videos on Windows, aimed at photographers and content creators who need to triage large media folders quickly. Falling into the media management and file organization category, it lets users tick folders to browse and then move, copy, rename, or delete files using single-key hotkeys. The software supports a wide range of formats and includes slideshow and random viewing modes, EXIF auto-rotate, an Ambilight-style background fill, and optional on-image OCR translation. Video playback always runs through the built-in VLC engine, covering H.264/MP4, AVI, MKV, VP9, ZMBV, and more, while static and animated WEBP images open natively without requiring the Windows "WebP Image Extensions" codec. The current release is version 26.9.1.1550, one of 13 versions distributed. The main program is now a modern 64-bit .NET 10 build that carries its own runtime, eliminating any .NET Framework requirement and installing nothing extra; it replaces the previous version in place while retaining user settings. A 32-bit build with the same feature set ships alongside it for Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and 32-bit machines, and the installer automatically selects the appropriate build for the PC, pointing shortcuts and file associations at it so no manual choice is needed. The 64-bit main program requires Windows 10 version 1607 or newer, Windows 11, or Windows Server 2016 or newer. The interface is available in 13 languages, including English, Russian, Ukrainian, German, Italian, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Arabic, Hindi, Bengali, Urdu, and Chinese, making the tool accessible to a broad international user base.
